What Time Does the School Day Begin?
The school day begins at 8:45 a.m. at Sky Crossing Elementary.
Students are welcome to arrive any time after 8:20 a.m. and head to the playground area assigned to their grade level. The first bell rings at 8:40 a.m., when students line up and teachers come out to greet them and bring them to the classroom. The students are to be in their seats and ready to learn by 8:45 a.m.
When Does the School Day End?
Regular dismissal time is 3:15 p.m.
What Are the Hours of the Before- and After-School Mascot Program?
Students registered in the Mascot Program can arrive as early as 6:30 a.m., with the staff releasing those students to the playground by 8:30 a.m. After school, the program runs as late as 6:30 p.m.
Mascot Club students enjoy a rich variety of activities that aim to cultivate students' talents and interests such as games, art projects, sports, and STEM-based projects.
