Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM)

To provide our students with the best opportunities, and to keep pace with the constantly evolving state of education, Sky Crossing Elementary (SCRES) is working to become a Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) focused school. 

We have a partnership with the Arizona Science Center and they will be training our staff over the next couple of years. Our STEAM framework will consist of the following:

• Classroom project-based learning

• Before and after school programming (STEAM Focused)

• Maker Space

• Family Nights

• Assemblies

• Business partnerships

• Field trips
